GCash parent Mynt set the final price of its Philippine Stock Exchange IPO at ₱6.60 a share on October 2, for gross proceeds of about ₱53.0 billion, or up to ₱60.9 billion if the overallotment option is fully exercised. At that upper figure it would be the largest IPO in Philippine history, and the shares are due to list under the ticker GCASH on October 20.

Why it matters: Coming a day after Airtel Money priced in London, the deal gives investors a second fresh valuation mark for an emerging-market mobile-money platform. Mynt said the book was multiple times oversubscribed, with demand beyond its cornerstone commitments.
